The Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre (Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre) was founded in 1919.

The national Estonian academy of music and drama continues to follow the path of classical music, setting up training courses based on the most orthodox European royal music, and bringing students into the most noble and elegant halls of musical art. The school is divided into 12 majors and 30 classes, including traditional music and drama. Internationally renowned majors are: piano, string and wind. It has 510 students, 158 professors and teachers, and 34 teaching assistants. It has international first-class teaching equipment, can accommodate 200 people at the same time of the concert hall, theater sound equipment, choir, music recording studio, electronic music laboratory and collection of more than 30,500 volumes, more than 14,000 audio materials multi-functional library. It is one of the most advanced music schools in the world.
