On the evening of May 29, 2019, the central music college press President professor, doctoral supervisor Zhang Boyu do in room 1001 of the teaching building in our school music "silk road resources and cultural interpretation" seminar, from China music institute, central academy of fine arts, Chinese opera institute, Beijing dance academy, Beijing institute of fashion technology and our school more than 150 teachers and students in colleges and universities, such as listening to the lecture. The lecture was hosted by professor gu lixia, director of the ideological and political department of the central conservatory of music.

Starting from the name of the silk road, professor zhang boyu narrated the historical development of the silk road. First of all, he helped the present teachers and students to understand "One Belt And One Road" from the perspective of historical development.

Music again, professor zhang in silk road resources and folk music culture in the process of interpretation, points out the four music of the silk road, the silk road is formed in the history of today is still stretched along the contact area and the country's trade, and promote the cultural exchange between regions and countries along the way; It is not only a road to witness the historical development of the regions and countries along the route, but also a realistic road to witness the integration of music with diverse cultures.

Finally, professor zhang summarized and refined the unique significance of the study of the silk road music. He pointed out that the silk road embodied the way the Chinese people saw the world, which promoted world peace and prosperity on the basis of equal communication and mutual understanding. He proposed to attach importance to the role of music in cross-cultural communication. Music is an adhesive for resolving conflicts and eliminating cracks between different ethnic groups. Meanwhile, the communication of folk music of the silk road ethnic groups avoided the assimilation of music in the era of globalization and played an important role in promoting the prosperity of diverse cultures. The whole lecture not only had rich audio-visual experience but also had in-depth rational thinking, which benefited the on-site teachers and students a lot.
