"Leading the classics by art masters" lecture successfully held by professor zhang boyu: "music resources and cultural interpretation of the silk road"

The lecture was hosted by professor gu lixia, director of the ideological and political department of the central conservatory of music.

Starting from the name of the silk road, professor zhang boyu narrated the historical development of the silk road. First of all, he helped the present teachers and students to understand "One Belt And One Road" from the perspective of historical development.

Finally, professor zhang summarized and refined the unique significance of the study of the silk road music. He pointed out that the silk road embodied the way the Chinese people saw the world, which promoted world peace and prosperity on the basis of equal communication and mutual understanding. He proposed to attach importance to the role of music in cross-cultural communication. Music is an adhesive for resolving conflicts and eliminating cracks between different ethnic groups. Meanwhile, the communication of folk music of the silk road ethnic groups avoided the assimilation of music in the era of globalization and played an important role in promoting the prosperity of diverse cultures. The whole lecture not only had rich audio-visual experience but also had in-depth rational thinking, which benefited the on-site teachers and students a lot.
